This silver finish is in excellent condition
There is a small ding on the throat leading to the bell, and the bell section has been racked slightly down so that there is a slight ripple where the main brace meets the bell throat. The stockings are different diameters, there is a small area (less that dime) where the plating is worn off one of the stocking. The slide works well. There are some small scratches and a ding in the bell section, otherwise there are no dents on the instrument. The spit valve was resoldered and some of the solder shows. The bell is actually 7.25 ' diameter when measured but I'm sure it is considered the standard 7.5 inch model.

I have a 4 valve Euphonium in good condition for sale. It is a vintage Frank Holton Silver plated horn with serial number 90574 and a curious 1 1/2 number engraved on 2nd valve above the serial number 980574. It's a heavy horn with a big sound. Elkhorn Indiana is also engraved on the bell. It comes with a Bach 6 1/2a mouthpiece, but no case.
